a nail technician does nails. a cosmetologist knows how to do everything; hair, coloring, nails, facials etc.What is the difference in a nail technician and a Cosmetologist?
A Nail tech is a person who is licensed only in Nails. The course is shorter, and I think cheaper, then a Cos Course.
A Cosmetologist is a person who is licensed in Hair, Nails and Skin. The Course takes up to a year, and is more expensive then a Nail Course.
