you are perfect, friendly, but a little shy (that's a plus) their is nothing more annoying than going to get your nails done and have to listen to someones sob stories about their bf, or a snotty gf. It's ok to be friendly and put your customer at ease with a little friendly conversation for a couple minutes, then carry on with the business at hand.Good luck.Do you have to be super outgoing to be a nail technician?

It's like anything else really...
You need to be doing it for the right reasons...i.e. you enjoy it...
Any shyness will soon disappear when your clients are delighted!

Can you really see yourself doing this for the rest of you life? Find something more rewarding.
i think u would be perfect....you would be nice to clients but you'd also listen.;...i'm a stylist and thats exactly wat u need to do and be...i'm going to a nail tech...plus salon owner...i think you so go for it...but make sure its something u want to do....nail art is really in n you can get alont of money from learning how...good luck
i think the more you work with these women the less u will be shy and no as long as you are good at wat u do it does not matter but it would help to hold a conversation i think
