i live in the cheltenham area im 29 and would loce a career as a nail technician any ideasAny ideas on how to become an nail technician?
See if your local college does the NVQ level 3 Beauty Therapy nail services course...some courses are disappearing but I dont think this is one of them. A year long part time course. This is the one I did and its very thorough (i dont trust these qualify in a week courses, you cant possibly learn everything in that time)Any ideas on how to become an nail technician?
That's good to know that you're venturing out into another field. Why not try to enroll on nail technician courses such as cosmetology? Then if you graduated, you can start posting your services online as well and get clients. There's a lot of online websites such as www.servicedfw.com that allows service providers like nail technicians to post their profiles and look for potential clients. Good Luck!
yes you need to do 2yrs beauty therapy course then you will have more options, you can do a year nail technician course or massage, there are a few things you can do after beauty therapy course, i wanted to do that after my beauty ther course but i fell pregnant, any collage an your area will give you information. good luck!
There are specific courses you need to take, both in technique as well as health code regulations. Then you will need to pass a health department test before you can get your certificate.

You have to go to a Cosmetology School, The Cos. School will have a Nail Tech Course you can take.
Most colleges do full or part time nail tech courses now.
